Helpful hint: ¾ cup Pure New York State Maple Syrup equals 1 cup sugar. When substituting Pure New York State Maple Syrup for sugar, reduce liquid in recipe by 3 tablespoons for each cup of syrup used.

We usually use Grade B Maple Syrup (Extra Dark for Cooking Maple Syrup) because it is the grade with the most maple flavor.
